Varun Iyer

I’m an acting student at VFS (Vancouver Film School) in Vancouver and based in Burnaby, BC, Canada. I’ve been training at VFS since June of last year and would love to have voice as a new artist. I will graduate this October, and hope to really be immersed in acting as life’s career. Telling people’s stories and empowering people are things that I wish to achieve as an artist. Being part of a feature film that is recognized on a platform like Telus will really be a key step in representing my community as a South-Asian Canadian and feeling seen as an artist. I was brought up in Ottawa, Ont., and made the major move to Vancouver to pursue acting with my sister.
