Rico Martinez

I'm originally from Mexico City, and I started my dance journey at the age of 5, hitting the streets with my moves on sheets of cardboard. By the time I turned 15, I formed a dance group called Black Tendency with four other talented individuals. We clinched victory in a televised talent contest called El Club, propelling me into the spotlight. The turning point came when I was hired to showcase my skills in Disney commercials and even took part in a Super Bowl Commercial for the Patriots in 2003. Seeking formal training, I committed to a rigorous routine, and was able to secure a place in Latin pop star Belinda's world tour. This opened the doors for me to take my dance/ love for hip hop internationally and lead me to Red Deer Alberta where I met my wife and opened my own hip hop studio.
